Traveler’s Trinkets line, and, while similar, no two necklaces are the same.

Item Number: PK 62:54:43
Material: Blue Agate, ceramic, glass and stones of various kinds, waxed linen,
silver plated metal
Length: Necklace is 26 inches long, with pendant and tassel hanging a 4.75
inches lower
Artifact Analysis:
Tinkers, travelers, traders--the De’dini of the Plains have been called all of
the above. They are nomadic wanderers who always have goods to sell, tales to
tell, and hearths open to the weary-hearted. Their camps are filled with
laughter and song, the bright colors of their clothes and their tents always
bright like flowers against their surroundings.
Both the men and women of the De’dini often wear bright multi-colored scarves
tied around their hair, and jewelry made from trinkets they acquire through
their travels. In fact, each De’dini group has a slightly different aesthetic…
Some prefer colorful ceramic, others prefer handcrafted glass, and yet others
combine the two. No two groups are exactly the same, and their handiwork shares
that same unique quality.
This one-of-a-kind necklace is made from some of those preferred
materials--glass and ceramic and stone--and is hand-knotted on waxed linen. As
its focal, it has a blue agate slice and a playful silvertone tassel. It has no
clasp; it is long enough to fit over the head. It looks like it could have been
worn by one of these De’dini… A cheerful token from travels, with its own story
to tell.

Please note that most stories told here—unless otherwise stated—are my
original ideas. They are part of a larger work that I am writing and planning
on publishing. As such, I would appreciate that they be treated as just that—my
intellectual property. Stories that are completely not of my creation will be
designated with an item number of BU (Borrowed Universe). I greatly appreciate
your cooperation!
