Sapphire Blue Locket Vintage Locket RARE Vintage Schiaparelli Glass Rose Art Glass Locket Victorian Jewelry Gift

Featured in this beautiful locket is a STUNNING ultra rare vintage glass
*Schiaparelli rose cabochon. The jewel is a lovely shade of sapphire blue with
gold leafing. Their unique "sculpted rose" design along with the gold leafing
make these stones literally shimmer! Note: These glass jewels are very hard to
capture their beauty in my photos. I've taken several photos at different
angles and lighting. Please be sure to zoom in on all of them to see the
incredible detailing on these gorgeous jewels.

I've layered the rose jewel onto golden brass filigree and it adorns a vintage
1950's brass locket with a basket weave design on the front and back. Locket
measures 1.5" across.

Locket hangs from a high quality gold plated brass cable chain, made and
plated in the US. A matching lobster clasp is attached for secure closure.

*These lovely jewels were made exclusively for Elsa Schiaparelli in the
1940's/1950's to use in her exquisite jewelry designs. Elsa was born in Rome in
1890. She moved to Paris in the 1920's where she excelled as a leading woman's
fashion designer. In the 1940's she moved to New York where she continued her
huge success in fashion, perfumes and jewelry designs. Elsa died in her sleep
in 1973. Today her designs are still highly collectible and often sell for
hundreds of dollars by collectors.
