Natural wood with a ruby guru bead 8mm x 12mm and tourmalines at beads 27.

Rubies are believed to protect the wearer from misfortune. They promote good
health and open the heart to love. Tourmaline gives strength to the body and
spirit. It attracts inspiration, aids concentration, encourages balance,
promotes understanding, calms the nerves, soothes grief and builds confidence.


Mala length is 70cm length plus 11mm (8mm and silver flat beads) plus 10cm
tassel.

Used as a tool to quieten the mind, the japa mala has 108 beads ~ say a mantra
such as 'I am calm', 'Aum', ‘I am here' or your own mantra once with each bead
and notice how much stillness there is inside you. When you reach the guru bead
take time to meditate on the qualities of the Amethyst is believed to calm the
emotions
